TheKnot.com 2007 Real Wedding Awards Winner - Voters' Pick! Of all the wedding website engines I looked into, this was by far the best! If you're just looking for simplicity, then of course, any ol' website company will do. But if you're looking for tons of design options, great customer service/assistance, and the ability to control every (and I mean every) facet of your website, then this is the one for you. In other words, if you're as particular (ie. obsessive compulsive) as me you would want nothing less. This website has so many functions! You can basically do anything with it- accept RSVPs, post unlimited amounts of photos, the option to increase memory space for video albums and music, customize all your pages, protect any or all pages of your website with a password, track your guestlist and gifts, give guests "pop-up" updates of what's new, edit photos, link entries to website address or directions... it's limitless. The aspect I liked most about this service was that I had options for everything. That allowed me to set up each page exactly the way I wanted it. And also, they made it easy. Everyone thought I was a web designer after they saw the site! They give you a free trial period to navigate around and build your website with no obligations. There was really nothing that I wanted to do that this website couldn't service. I just have to rave again about how great their customer service department is. Each time I sent an email question, I would get a detailed reply within hours! One of the few technical complaints I had with the service was that they didn't have the option for our website music selection to continuously play through all the songs. Instead, I could only chose to continuously play the same song or have it stop after the first play. So if guests wanted to listen to the next song they would have to manually click the play button to proceed. So I wrote to them about it and now... WHA-LA!... all of our song selections play continuously through! You're hearing it for yourself! I am very happy I found this service because it has been SOOO much easier to communicate wedding details to my guests and keep them abreast with all the happenings, especially since there were TWO weddings to manage. My mom especially loved it because she can still keep in touch with what's going on even with us being on opposite coasts. It saved on having to answer tons of emails and calls. Also, with every wedding that I attended in the past, I never had the opportunity to see the couple's wedding album, even those of my closest friends. What's great now is that we can share all of our wedding pictures and videos with everyone who attended our weddings! Undoubtedly, building and updating the website is very time consuming but if you have fun with it (as I did), you'll be very happy with all that you were able to share and preserve of your wedding planning experience. WeddingWindow.com was one of the easiest web tools to use! With the large selection of designs and colors we were able to build a Web site that complimented our wedding style. We used our wedding Web site to introduce our wedding party to our family and friends and to tell our story. We are now using it to update everyone on life after our wedding and honeymoon. This was the best $99 I could have possibly spent. I do not love the site. I am IN LOVE with the wedding window site. I tried two of the free sites, trying to justify why I needed to pay for this one. It was not working. I was not impressed with the limited information the free sites allow you. Many nights I was up to 2 am working on my site, it became my part-time job, a fun job. I'll probably keep my site up forever!! Everyone loves the site, all of my friends ask " how long did it take me to create" it. I spent about week reading wedding window testimonials/sites to get ideas. I began to feel I knew those couples. Your site was easy, I could have been done in a few days, but because my site is over the top, it took me 2 months to get ALL I wanted to say on here. As many couples do, in planning our wedding, we tried to think of unique and personalised accents that expressed who we are. Without a doubt our wedding website was the launching pad for ensuring that we accomplished that goal! Our website gave us a wonderful opportunity not only to share “our story” but it also allowed us to showcase our beautiful island home (Bermuda) for our overseas guests. We provided them with links to local hotel and entertainment websites and even the Bermuda phone book online was uploaded so they could make any bookings they wanted before arriving. We took our guests on a journey from the day we met and all through the full year of wedding planning with pictures from our pre-wedding bridal party get togethers, to the bridal shower, right up to the day. The site was a HUGE hit and with Bermuda being so small, the site spread like wildfire throughout the island. There were random people stopping me on the street who raved about how impressed they were with the site and that I should go into business developing sites ?. I had to confess however, that it is not I, but weddingwindow.com who are the geniuses. There was so much abuzz about our wedding leading up to the day and I attribute 99% of that to our website. Most dear to our hearts were the “In Loving Memory” page we created to honour cherished loved ones who have passed away and the Guest Book comments which were so heartfelt and wonderfully moving. Our guests said that our site made them laugh and cry and we enjoyed reading what they had to say just as much as they enjoyed the site. Prior to the wedding, I would check several times a day to see what people had said. Even now that the wedding is over, I go on the site at least once a day to smile and relive our day. I knew I wanted a wedding website after I saw one of my cousin's site. The concept was amazing to have everything in one place. It really makes life a lot easier especially when you're having a destination wedding or when you have guests coming from different places. I searched almost all sites available and decided to go with Wedding Window. The reasons were simple: the main page clearly told me what I wanted to know : the cost, example of some sites, ability to update the site at my leisure, testimonials from other couples, the elegant templates and the ability to customize it to suit my needs. I've been using it actively for a month now and its very easy to use and understand. I've found more uses of the site under the planning tools like evites etc. The best part is how much our friends and family are appreciating our website! Its actually making me and my fiance more excited about the wedding!
